Stay Home Fun Activity Kits Giveaway

On April 28, 2020, Prevention Force Family Center team put together 27 Stay Home Fun Activity kits to give away to the kids and families who participate in our Future Teen Entrepreneurship Afterschool program at St. Malachy School.

Prevention Force Family Center staff partner with Mildred Frank Foundation and Karone’ Professional Company to distribute 25 more Stay Home Fun Activity kits for families in their communities. The kit's consist of 6 weeks of fun activity supplies, activity instruction sheets in a binder, Crazy Kids Activities Newsletter, Parent Community Resource Information, COVID-19  Resources Information, Update Entrepreneurship Contests, Kids Chef Cooking Recipes, Snacks, Hand Sanitizer bottles. and summer clothing items. 

Parents were contacted about the Stay Home Fun Activity Kits available for delivery to their home. The Prevention Force Family team was on a grand tour of Chicago's West Side and South Side, delivering more than 52 FREE Stay Home Fun Activity Kits to youth who may not have access to activity supplies at home. 

 Within 30 minutes of delivering the kits youth started to send pictures of their

design t-shirts and making home masks for the week one of the Stay Home Fun Activity Kit.

 By the end of this week we will have provided more than 52 Stay Home Fun Activity Kits to our participants.
