Teen Tasty Smoothie Contest

Prize: $20.00 or a Pizza Party Gift Certificate for the winner!

Instruction:

Focus on the smoothie product you are interested in selling. Come up with an appropriate name for your products that REPRESENTS who you are, what you’re all about, and what you are selling.

• Youth must be between ages of 13 to 17 years old. You may work by yourself or you may work in a team.
• Must attend the Smoothie workshops
• Create a frozen fruit smoothie recipe
• Create a Powerpoint presentation.

Things to include in your presentation:
- Company Name
- Logo
- Slogan
- Attire your workers will wear
- New Recipe using frozen fruit ingredients
Amounts/weights/sizes
- COGS (Cost of Goods) for 1 unit
- Sales Price- compares your price to other companies
- Incorporate video and music in the powerpoint presentation
- Make a sample of your drink to serve to the judges
- Include a powerpoint presentation on why you came up with your recipe: market
research/consumer requests

How it will be judged:
- spectacularness
- originality
- practicality
- creativity

- appropriateness
- team work!!
